Familiars/Cupii species guide

Description

Finally, a new guide since the old one was made in 20 minutes. Actually put some time in this one, so hope you enjoy.

First off, I'd like to open by saying that while this is an original species, I am also aware it's a very simple design that has probably been done before. Take the term 'original species' with a grain of salt, they've been created to fit in a story, not to be the most unique of them all.

Wanna create one? Go ahead!

After years of having familiars, I finally defined the creatures and made a proper species sheet for them. There's no rarity stated aside from fur location because they all depend on the magic type of the familiar. Obviously, a wind familiar will more easily have less fluff and a thinner tail, while a frost familiar may be a lot fluffier. Use logic for rarity rates.

If you wanna read more about the species and its traits, please read down below. It has everything you need to know about them. First one is the long version, second one is the more easy to read FAQ.
[Species info] Familiars and stuff about them

Basics
Cupii or familiars are friendly spirit servants created by the panther god Mehra. They are feline-like little creatures - often only 30-40 centimetres (11" to 1'3") in height and 6-15 kilograms (13 to 33 lbs) in weight - with blank round eyes, wings, and a whole lot of fluff. They do not need to eat or breathe to survive, but they have lungs and a stomach so they usually do it anyway. These immortal creatures are naturally curious towards magic, and have the capacity, and even the drive, to learn it on their own. They are often the companion of a powerful mage, which they share several benefits with thanks to a spiritual bond.

Familiars can be born in various ways. The original way for them to be born was when Mehra met a couple of mages who were kind to her and she unknowingly based a set o

Basics
damphyr What are familiars/Cupii?
They are small magical animals resembling cats that were sent to the world to help out people. They're often kept as pets and as fighting companions by mages, as they can be trained to become strong and loyal fighters.
damphyr How are they born?
The ancient familiars were created by the panther god Mehra, but most familiars that walk around nowadays came into existence whenever a mage is born, often resembling th

Some quick details about them

- They are about 30-40 centimetres (11" to 1'3") in height and 6-15 kilograms (13 to 33 lbs) in weight.
- Just like other animals, they can blink.
- Since they don't have thumbs, they can't do things like write and make more complex actions
- Familiars are often linked to a mage through a voluntary bond between the two. This allows for them to share vision and senses and to strengthen each other.
- There are eight magic school available for familiars, those being frost, fire, earth, wind, life, death, darkness, and light. Ranked most common to rarest.
- They are often born without markings, as the amount of markings changes with how strong they are. They gain more markings as their magic becomes stronger.
- You can find colour combinations at the bottom of the literature deviation shown above.
