Commission for Shottis.


He asked me to draw his brother as a superhero for his birthday. I was asked to use inspiration from other superheroes, so I went with a mix of Iron Man, Wolverine, the Punisher and a bit of my own style mixed in that. Additionally, the logo shown was requested as well as the colours blue and black to be used. The pose this was inspired by is the first one of this sheet.

As you can see, he wears boots similar to Iron Man's. These he can use to fly, making him very mobile. The three tail pieces are used for both acceleration and to keep balance. They can be compacted into one tail and they are kept in place by the metal parts around the waist. He has a technological gadget in the form of an armband, which can do various things, like moniter heart rate, damage, and temperature to check if he is still intact.


It was a lot more fun to draw than I had first imagined. I hadn't drawn a superhero before, so designing one was an extra difficulty added to the task. The superhero type of body was also new to me. I think that the shading has been well done, and I hope to keep improving.
