Hug therapy

I hate it when I can't produce a proper description for artwork and because of it postpone posting that work for a long time. It's been happening way more often than usual lately, and sometimes even keeps me from posting it at all, leaving it to rot in my files.


Anyway, When you're about to establish a bromance with a grumpy bird, always think about the nasty consequences that could follow from that. While Garry can take his mission of 'Befriend the ultimately aggressive bird so that we can learn more about its species' very serious sometimes, Nunchucks isn't convinced of the use of certain of his actions, and I don't think he completely approves. On the plus side, now Garry's got a new, fancy scar in the backside of his knee to show off. Oh, the glory of friendship and a morning mood!

I'm quite happy with the general outcome of this all. It used to have a full background, but that kept failing so I only made it transparent and shuffled around a couple of objects. I also tried to use a few textures for the moss and the grass, and I'm happy about the effect it gave. The shading was done in a very messy fashion, but whatever. I also spent hours adjusting the facial structures and the angled body, it was a real pain in the ass :c
